Cough cold and flu can strike anybody at any time. Whether it’s seasonal or viral it sure is very painful. Though, the flu might be common in winters but recently due to the extreme weather changes it is quite as common in the summers as well. Summer cold is not much different than the winter one. Blow your nose regularly instead of sniffing it in which can cause stuffiness and head ache.

Honey and black pepper:

Take a table spoon of honey and mix it with a pinch of black pepper.

Green Tea:

Drink lots of green tea which will relief the pressure in the head and nose.

Twice or thrice a day gargle with salt water. It will ease the pain in the throat and help reduce swelling from the throat.

Take lots of rest:

Taking rest is very important. The more you will rest the sooner you will feel relieved.

You can also drink herbal tea which will ease your suffering and will help you recover sooner.

Chicken soup:

Chicken corn soup or any other soup is very helpful in increasing immunity.

Take a hot water bath:

Take hot water bath which will also enable you to reduce fever and steam will also break up the mucus.
